I have a Master's degree in Anthropology from Central European University. GPA: 4.0. Class ranking: 1. I have a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and Psychology as majors and Creative Writing as a minor at Bryn Mawr College in Philadelphia. GPA: 3.85 I am a Watson Fellowship alumna, where I traveled the world to explore oral tradition/poetry/storytelling. I am currently a researcher at Human Rights Watch in Beirut.

Experience

I've been a tutor for 10 years. Started by tutoring children and helping high school students with their homework and exams. When I moved to the United States, I accepted a tutoring job for Arabic as it is my native language. In addition, I worked as a Writing and Public Speaking tutor at the Writing Center of Bryn Mawr College. I am also especially trained to tutor ESL students (English as a Second Language). I am generally good at test preparation, such as SAT, GRE, LSAT, and writing, as well as psychology and social studies (my fields of study). I am probably one of the most dedicated and determined tutors you'll ever have. I work with people at their own pace and also challenge them and follow their progress closely.

Hobbies

I love meeting new people and having long, deep conversations. I'm a writer, for which I received the Watson Fellowship, where I pursued my passion and took myself seriously as an artist. I am a spoken word/poetry performer and an overall geek when it comes to learning. I studied at very competitive institutions, which has allowed me to work to my fullest potential. I've been providing for myself financially since I was thirteen, so I seek every opportunity to make ends meet and better myself. I also danced for 12 years, mainly oriental and traditional Lebanese dance (the dabke).
