I graduated with a BS in Biology in 2016 from the American University of Beirut. I am currently in Medical School at AUB, and I will graduate in the year 2020.
Experience
-Previous tutoring experience: I've freelance tutored students at school grades 8 till 12, all subjects. -I've taught the SAT in group studies, including different problem solving strategies and analytical skills. -I am currently tutoring BIOL courses to undergraduate students at universities. I want to be a tutor because I absolutely love to teach and interact with students. My previous tutoring has given me enough experience to realize that teaching is something that I enjoy and am capable of. Moreover, my degree in Biology, as well as my current education as medical student, allow me to deliver information adequately and efficiently. Relevant classes: All my biology undergraduate classes, and my current medical school classes. Other impressive items: I've previously worked at a Children's Care Center for two summers, so I'm quite good at interacting with children as well as parents. Moreover, my previous experience helped me find ways to develop a friendly and positive relationship with my students. I am a certified Human Rights Trainer through IFMSA, and I very often conduct trainings for different medical students on topics such Discrimination and Abuse. Although unrelated to tutoring Biology, the trainings are important to develop the skills to engage your students and encourage/motivate them to enjoy the learning experience.

Hobbies
I'm currently a Medical student, so my biggest interest is my curiosity for Science. However, on the side, I have a passion for traveling (which is mostly why I do my tutoring). I love to discover and learn about cultural backgrounds. Also, I am currently the local officer on The Standing Committee on Human Rights and Peace at AUB. I'm very passionate about volunteering! I play the piano and I'm currently learning how to play the Ukelele! I love to write and read books! This is something that I developed growing up, and it's still with me till this day.
