Education
I grew up in Abu Dhabi where I studied at the Sabis International School and majored in Sciences. I later came to Beirut where I pursued my Bachelor's degree at the American University of Beirut, with a concentration in Political Science and Public Administration. I am currently writing my thesis for my Master's degree at the Notre Dame University, where I have majored in International Law.
Experience
I have been tutoring for 1 year; there is no specific age limit as I have helped children in elementary school, teenagers in high school as well as grown ups who have been interested in taking up the English language. I love to teach; I am patient and energetic - just how I would want my own teachers to be with me. I have experience teaching the TOEFL and SAT specifically. I advanced in all my English classes at AUB and was valedictorian at my High School. I have authored two books in the English language and enjoy writing poetry in my free time. At my current job (United Nations partner organization), one of my main tasks is to write project proposals to donors, or review/proofread proposals written by partner organizations or internally. I also work on translating documents from Arabic to English from time to time - but please note I am not a certified sworn translator.
